Meet The Staff
Alana Monteiro is a Top Supermodel. She was born and raised in New Bedford, MA.
Alana is ranked in the Top 50 Social on Models.com She is also ranked in the top 100 Black female models who carved a niche for themselves in the fashion industry with rankings including a list of icons such as Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. After graduating from New Bedford High School, Alana moved to NYC to pursue a career as a professional model. She signed to top modeling agencies including Wilhelmina Models and Next Model Management. Alana has landed over 30 editorials and covers in the world's top high fashion magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, L'Officiel, Numéro, Glamour, Grazia ect. She has worked with some of the industry's top leading beauty brands such as CoverGirl, Clinique, L'Oréal Paris, Revlon, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, bare Minerals and NARS. She has done countless amounts of print advertisement campaign for some of the world's most globally known brands such as Nike, Reebok, Under Armour, Footlocker, Gap, TJ Maxx, Marshals, Macy's, Puma, Target, Reebok, Fila etc.
Model Club Inc, is a Boston-based, SAG Franchised agency, representing all ages of models and talent for more than 30 years. The agency books talent around New England and in New York for a wide range of clients, including working consistently with some of the largest companies, producers, ad agencies, and casting directors in the business. We take pride in our hard work and personal relationships with all of our talent.
I still pinch myself and thank God knowing that I am the one who develops the walks of models who grace the runways for major brands like Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton! Best known for my ability to transform a model’s walk from basic to fierce. I take pride in knowing that not only are the model's walks transformed, but that their CONFIDENCE is as well. My coaching focuses on improving the model's self-esteem so they can in turn become more confident in all facets of their lives. This is why I created the philosophy "Be. Feel. Walk Confident" I’ve developed a unique coaching style and keen eye for detail, which has empowered students to strut down runways in New York, Paris, Milan, London, Africa, Asia, and Toronto. I’ve worked with and perfected the walks of students who can be seen walking for designers such as Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Thom Browne, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, The Blonds and Mackage. Having coached models from the start of their careers and continuing to coach them throughout provides them with the support and guidance they need. As a result, I’ve become a mentor to many of my students as well as aspiring models. My passion and no-nonsense approach, has enabled me to hone my craft, establish rapport with my students and receive trust from numerous agencies, models, and industry members. Are you ready to “Be. I have been working in the industry for over 18 years, gaining knowledge that is only learned from time, dedication and experience. After graduating from New England School of photography, with a major in fashion photography. I started the business in March of 2007. In the beginning I took all types of jobs to find my place in the industry. It wasn’t long till I found where my specialties lay in photography. And just like all those years ago photographing my stuffed animals as if they were people. Working and photographing people has been my passion in the industry, always trying to get the best out of each subject.
Today I specialize in headshots, model portfolios, corporate/business headshots as well as commercial and branding photography. Come to my studio for your session or if you have multiple people to be photographed, we can come to your office or desired location. Lorna has coached well known Industry names such as Laila Lockhart Kraner who stars in the DreamWorks show Gabby's Dollhouse on Netflix. In 1995, Lorna opened The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts. In 2010 she launched The Alley Theatre. In 2019 she introduced the community to The Patio an outdoor performance venue. All three serve as a cultural hub for live entertainment and arts training 48 weeks a year. Lorna joined the team at Boston Casting Inc. in 1999 helping hundreds of actors to level up. Her clients have been seen on The Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon, Showtime, HBO, Hulu, ABC, NBC, CBS, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, and The X Factor. Her clients have also appeared on TV shows Good American Family. She has spent many years working on movie sets with A list celebrities, and was on the NBC/ Style Network show Wicked Fit season 1 in 8 episodes.Since 2009 she has worked with children, teens, and adults on the spectrum through therapeutic boarding schools in southeastern, Massachusetts. She designed and taught an ABA class at Boston Casting Inc. She is the author of the bestselling books The Buoy Projects, Dirty Bombshell, and Cooking on North. A day is named in her honor (October 22) in Boston.
I currently lead Art Direction for all on model editorial fashion for the luxury off-price brands Rue La La la and Gilt. Leading a team of photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists and designers in creating fresh compelling imagery for a multitude of brands ranging from Valentino to J.Crew. I bring a wealth of experience in melding the world of creativity, style, art and business. My involvement in many facets of the industry allows me to truly understand and appreciate the importance of collaboration.
My work as an art director is supported with 15 years of experience as an accomplished and published fashion and wardrobe stylist working with major brands in the editorial, advertising and commercial space. Clients include Converse, TJMaxx, Sperry, VH1, Reebok, Lands End, and Adidas to name a few.
DayDay Selaht is a Haitian American Actor and Model. He is from Fall River, Massachusetts. At age 17 he sought out to the Big Apple to level up his career and hasn't looked back since. He has appeared in National Super Bowl commercials and various films. He received his acting coaching from Anneliese who played on the TV Show hit “That’s So Raven” He is known for his versatility as a young Actor.
Amber Farland is the owner & director of Evolution Dance Company. She has extensive training in all styles of dance but excels most in acrobatics, jazz, ballet, contemporary & hip hop. Miss Miss Amber has been able to travel all over the country for dance. Before opening her own studio she was the Artistic Director of Dance Clinic where she ran the competitive dance team & acrobats program for 6 years. Miss Amber's choreography has been nominated for awards as well as winning a few choreography awards last season. Miss Amber continues to expand her dance education by attending dance conventions, & dance educational teacher conferences. In addition to her training she is also Acrobatic Arts certified & continues to learn from this program throughout the season. Miss Amber really enjoys working with children and spending her days helping children grow everywhere she goes! Favorite thing about teaching: Creating a safe place for children, a place where children can express themselves through dance & have fun. Watching my dancers grow in confidence, working hard, & seeing those big smiles when goals are accomplished is the absolute best!
Lori Gomes is a hair stylist born and raised in New Bedford, MA with over 30 years plus in the cosmetology business. She has done makeup on movie sets for Free Guy (2021), Absolution (2024) and The Sleepover (2020)
Ivana West is a contestant from Season 24 of America's Next Top Model. Graduate of Harvard Business School and Parson's school of design, Ivana West Represents both brains and beauty. She is excited to educate the youth and inspire them to be whoever they want to be when they grow up.
Vanessa C. is a professional makeup artist with over 10 years of experience, including work with Reebok and Hasbro Toys on their lifestyle photo shoots and videos. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Rhode Island since the age of five, Vanessa has had a love for beauty and creativity since she was a young girl.
In January, she and her 6 year old daughter Emory who has also modeled for Hasbro Toys launched PopUp Glam Studios, a mobile beauty experience that’s quickly become a hit across RI & MA. Specializing in natural, age appropriate glam for kids and teens, Vanessa brings confidence, creativity, and sparkle to every event from photo shoots to runway shows.
