Our camp’s mission is to expand access to arts opportunities for youth. With each team member bringing over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, we’re dedicated to providing a meaningful, educational, and inspiring experience for every camper.
Meet The Staff
Alana Monteiro is a top international supermodel, actress, and creative entrepreneur born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts. After graduating from New Bedford High School, she moved to New York City to pursue her modeling career and signed with leading agencies including Wilhelmina Models and Next Model Management.
Recognized as one of Models.com’s Top 50 Social Models, Alana is also ranked among the Top 100 Black female models who have made a lasting impact on the fashion industry — alongside icons like Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks.
Alana has graced over 30 editorials and covers for major fashion publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, Numéro, Glamour, and Grazia. She has fronted campaigns for world-renowned brands such as Nike, Reebok, Under Armour, Gap, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Macy’s, Puma, Target, and Fila.
Her work with top beauty brands — including CoverGirl, Clinique, L’Oréal Paris, Revlon, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, bareMinerals, and NARS — further showcase her influence across the fashion and beauty industries.
With over 18 years of experience in the photography industry, Kevin Day brings a wealth of knowledge gained through time, dedication, and creativity. A graduate of the New England School of Photography with a major in Fashion Photography, Kevin launched his business in 2007 and quickly discovered his passion for capturing people.
From his early beginnings photographing his childhood toys to working with professional models and clients today, Kevin has always focused on bringing out the best in every subject he photographs. He now specializes in headshots, model portfolios, corporate and business portraits, as well as commercial and branding photography.
Whether in his studio or on location, Kevin’s goal is to create authentic, professional images that help each client shine.
Lorna Brunelle is a highly respected acting coach, educator, and arts leader with over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry. She has trained well-known talent, including Laila Lockhart Kraner, star of DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse on Netflix.
In 1995, Lorna founded The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts, followed by the launch of The Alley Theatre in 2010 and The Patio, an outdoor performance venue, in 2019. Together, these spaces serve as a year-round cultural hub for live entertainment and arts education.
Since joining Boston Casting Inc. in 1999, Lorna has helped hundreds of actors advance their careers, with her clients appearing on platforms such as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, ABC, NBC, CBS, and more. She has also worked on major film sets alongside A-list talent and appeared in eight episodes of NBC/Style Network’s Wicked Fit.
Beyond the spotlight, Lorna teaches acting to children, teens, and adults on the autism spectrum through therapeutic schools across Massachusetts. She even designed and taught an ABA-based acting course at Boston Casting.
A bestselling author of The Buoy Projects, Dirty Bombshell, and Cooking on North, Lorna was honored by the City of Boston with an official day in her name — October 22.
Lori Gomes is a professional hairstylist born and raised in New Bedford, MA, with over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. She specializes in film, bridal, and educational hairstyling, bringing expert skill and professional polish to every project.
Lori has worked on major film productions including Free Guy (2021), The Sleepover (2020), and Absolution (2024), showcasing her versatility and attention to detail both on set and behind the chair. At the camp, she shares her passion and expertise to help participants look and feel their best during photo and runway events.
Brianna Moon is a fashion stylist, designer, and curator with over 15 years of experience across fashion, art, and editorial work. She studied fashion design in both the U.S. and France, where she developed a strong foundation in craftsmanship, storytelling, and expressive style.
Her diverse portfolio spans runway, personal styling, costume design, and vintage curation, with credits including Dior, Ferragamo, Kate Spade, Anthropologie, and Hasbro. Brianna approaches every project with creativity and intention, believing that fashion is a powerful form of identity, empowerment, and self-expression.
With warmth and editorial vision, she transforms clothing into storytelling — helping each person she styles feel confident, authentic, and truly seen.
