About founder and CEO Alana Monteiro
Alana Monteiro is an internationally recognized supermodel, actress, and creative visionary born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts. After graduating from New Bedford High School in 2015, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream of modeling and quickly signed with top agencies there including Wilhelmina Models and Next Model Management. Alana has graced over 30 editorials and covers for leading fashion publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, Numéro, Glamour, and Grazia. She has fronted major campaigns for global brands like Nike, Reebok, Under Armour, Gap, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Macy’s, Puma, Target, and Fila. Her work has appeared in thousands of stores worldwide and on billboards in New York City’s Times Square.
In the beauty industry, Alana has worked with industry leaders including CoverGirl, Clinique, L’Oréal Paris, Revlon, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, bareMinerals, and NARS. Ranked among the Top 50 Models Social on Models.com and among the Top 100 Black female models alongside icons such as Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks, Alana continues to make her mark in the industry.
She is giving back by launching the Alana Monteiro Modeling Camp; an inclusive program designed to empower youth of all genders and backgrounds to explore modeling, acting, and the arts with confidence and creativity
About the Camp
The Alana Monteiro Modeling Camp is five-day workshop designed for either aspiring models and actors looking to explore the entertainment industry or individuals who simply want to have fun, build confidence, and try something new. Whether you're considering a future career in modeling or acting, developing valuable life skills, or seeking a positive and supportive experience, this camp provides an encouraging environment to learn, grow, and express yourself. Through engaging activities and expert guidance, participants will gain confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories.
Participants receive professional headshots, runway training, posing coaching, and acting classes led by top industry professionals. Through hands-on workshops, creative exercises, and engaging activities, campers gain essential skills, industry insight, and lasting friendships that help them shine both on and off the stage.
We also offer personal one-on-one portfolio starter packages, as well as personalized coaching in posing, acting, and runway techniques.

Summer Camp
5-Day Summer Modeling & Acting Workshop
Dive into an exciting 5-day immersive workshop designed for aspiring models and actors or anyone looking to have fun, build confidence, and discover their unique talents!
Participants will gain hands-on experience through professional headshots, runway training, posing, and acting classes led by industry professionals. They’ll also enjoy creative activities and interactive workshops while learning about auditions, casting, and the entertainment industry.
Open to youth ages 3–18 of all genders and backgrounds, our supportive and inclusive environment encourages self-expression, personal growth, and confidence.
By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with new skills, professional images, meaningful connections, and the confidence to shine!
Private1-on-1 Portfolio Session
This private one-on-one modeling session is thoughtfully designed to help launch your career with a portfolio of professional images captured by an experienced industry photographer. As part of the experience, you’ll have the opportunity to get your hair and makeup professionally done, helping you look and feel camera-ready for your session.
Throughout the experience, you’ll receive personalized coaching from industry professionals who will guide you through posing techniques, help you build genuine confidence in front of the camera, and share valuable insights into how the modeling world truly operates.

Turn school vacation into a week of creativity, confidence, and fun! Our 5-day workshop gives young participants the opportunity to explore the world of modeling and acting while learning from experienced industry professionals.
Campers will experience runway training, posing, acting, professional headshots, and on-camera skills, along with engaging activities that encourage creativity and self-expression. They’ll also get an inside look at auditions, casting, and the entertainment industry.
Designed for ages 5–18, our workshops welcome all genders, backgrounds, and experience levels in a positive and supportive environment.

Take your acting skills to the next level with personalized one-on-one acting coaching designed to help you grow as a performer and build confidence.
Each session is tailored to your individual goals and experience, with focused training in script study, character development, audition preparation, scene work, and acting techniques.
